4.1 IBM Fix Packs
IBM Fix Packs can be located using the IBM Fix Central URL which is https://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/
Always check this link during the course of an install. (This is not usually used for container versions of IBM Software Products)
For IBM Watson Analytics, the following URL describes the process required to upgrade from the IBM Watson 12.0.3.1 base version to the IBM Watson 12.0.3.10 base version. (The current version fix pack, as of 9th October 2022 is the 12.0.3.10 release, dated 15th June, 2022)

There are currently no intermediate fixes for the latest IBM FileNet Content Engine 5.5.9 base installation (as of 9th October, 2022).
The upgrade for IBM Business Automation to version 21.0.3, is covered fully in Chapter 7, which also covers the RedHat Linux, RHEL 8.0 Upgrade to version 8.6.
4.2 IBM Cloud Pak systems – setting up an IBM Cloud account
The following website link guides you through signing up for the IBM Cloud Pak for integration trial for use with Red Hat OpenShift Cluster on IBM Cloud.
See: Getting started with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration: https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/cloud-pak-integration?topic=cloud-pak-integration-getting-started
The next step is described on the web page:
https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/cloud-pak-integration?topic=cloud-pak-integration-trial#step2
This describes how to sign up for a 60-day subscription trial key for IBM Cloud Pak for Integration using the URL link:
https://www.ibm.com/account/reg/signup?formid=urx-46640
The 60-day subscription trial key registration form either creates an IBM ID or, if you have an existing IBM ID, then the page will identify you from the email address you use to log in. The email address that is entered becomes your IBMid, which is then used to log into IBM websites.
For a new user’s IBMid then you need to fill in the form which asks for your email address, first name, last name, password (8 characters minimum, one uppercase character, one lowercase character, one number), country or region of residence and state or province.
After filling in the registration form and clicking Next, IBM will send you a New User Registration verification email with a 7-digit code to the email address that you provided.
Note: If you do not see this email in the inbox, check the junk folder.
Copy the 7-digit code supplied in your email and paste it into a verification token field and click Continue. This code must be used within 30 minutes of receiving it.
Once complete, the form will redirect you to the link for accessing the trial.
After signing up for the IBM Cloud Pak for Integration trial, you will be assigned a container software entitlement key so that you are entitled to use the IBM Cloud Pak for Integration container image.
The procedure for using IBM Cloud Pak for Integration is located at:
https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/cloud-pak-integration?topic=cloud-pak-integration-getting-started
This link covers the trial license for the managed Red Hat OpenShift Cluster on IBM Cloud.
Start at the “Before you begin” step, on the right-hand panel of the above link (and then skip “Step 1. Obtain a license”, as at this stage you will already have a trial license for the 6o days trial).
Note: The container software entitlement key is located at https://myibm.ibm.com/products-services/containerlibrary
Select the View library tab on the left-hand side of the page to see details and a full list of the container software provided for the trial.
A license must be assigned for IBM Cloud Pak for MultiCloud Management by logging into the IBM Cloud and then associating the IBM Passport Advantage entitlement to the IBM Cloud Pak as shown in Figure 4.1:
Figure 4.1: The Create tab is used to assign a license for IBM Cloud Pak for MultiCloud Management
The license used, has the broadest effective date (up to 12/31/9999).

Before using the IBM Cloud software, it can be scanned for vulnerabilities using a mechanism to ensure the software is safe by following the procedure described in the following link:
